My brown glasses have been missing in action since our filming of "The New Black", on June 9th. This inconvenience is royally ticking me off. Now I have to destroy my house in search of them.
"The New Black" is currently in post-production and will be finished next week; a grand relief. A general positive vibe has been flowing around all day. I love days like this.
Figured out the last 5 songs for the album, and completed the theme. I can't believe I didn't see the Objectivist correlation before now... amazing. Everything seems to be happening at the right time... It's quite uncanny, actually. Sent out several emails. Lots to do in the next four weeks before we finish recording in Detroit. Still working on the idea for that last song... Got to go back through my notations. The dance moves for the main theme... again... too perfect.
And a very interesting bug just flew onto my computer screen.... hello bug. (I think I'll turn on a lamp.)
Continuing to work on behind-the-scene photography stills from TNB music video. Should start posting those up on the site by next Monday. Shindig at my house in two weeks to release the first single. I can't wait for people to see this... the video is hilarious. Thank God it's promo only.
I've been choreographing a lot of comedic pieces lately.... what the heck?
I'm not logging into Facebook, Twitter or Myspace until this music video is complete. Ergo, roughly one week.
Facebook is a drug far more terrible than my caffeine addiction. It can also become a horrible distraction when I have vital work to complete and a tangible deadline to meet.
So, adios Facebook. Seven days is a long time... Really, it is.
NOTE TO SELF: Send notations to NK regarding the new site(s).
Deadline August 1, 2009.
Since when did Myspace start to harbor online celebrity profile accounts, and status updates, SOLELY on the front home-page? If I remember correctly, the site used to be about music, once upon a time...
Very sad. Almost as sad as what's going on with Cap and Tax. STOP THEM!

Thank you and Enjoy!!!
I don't comprehend people who trash their homes, apartments, bedrooms... or their general "living area".
Here's the way I see it. If I'm spending hundreds of dollars to occupy a space, that I am supposedly going to call a sanctuary for my sanity, why the bloody hell would I want to trash it?! I'm spending money to "own" it! Well, I guess that's everyone's prerogative; the fact that they CAN trash their living area is their right. Because it's theirs. Healthy mind, healthy body, healthy environment. That's the order. At least, that's the way I see it.
Or, maybe I just have OCD.
NOTE TO SELF:
Why is alcohol being served to the patrons of Glenn Beck's "COMMON SENSE COMEDY TOUR"?
QUOTES OF THE NIGHT:
"I LOVE YOUR BLACK LEATHER JACKET! WHERE DID YOU GET IT?" ...Italy
"FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!" ... Dear Drunk Dude sitting behind me - you're not Mel Gibson.
"ALERT! IT'S A LIBERAL BLOGGER!!!" ... Because I'm wearing black? Seriously?
"THE MISSING PIECE MEETS THE BIG O" by Shel Silverstein.
Everything you need to know about Life, Relationships and Purpose is in this children's story. Way to go, Shel. Keeping it real.
My favorite part is when the Missing Piece meets the Perfect Fit. They roll along for a while, then the Missing Piece grows. "I didn't know you were going to grow!" says the Perfect Fit. "Neither did I." says the Missing Piece.
We are continually evolving beings. It is our duty to learn from past experiences. Each day brings a new challenge and if we pay attention, we can become stronger and more resilient. To say "Wow! That was a really stupid thing I did... let's not do that again!" How often do we meet or see people in co-dependent relationships, who want to keep the other person 'in their place'? If we truly love someone, we will want to see them grow and develop in the beautiful creatures God made them. To reach their best self; to maximize their potential. To wish anything less than that of a loved one, is not true love, but self-love.
So the Perfect Fit moves along... searching for it's next fling... while you're left to wonder what the hell you did to deserve that. New's Flash! You did nothing. The Perfect Fit has his own problems to deal with.
The purpose of a relationship is not to find someone who completes you, but to find someone with whom you can share your completeness.
For the Record: I'm at the liftpullflop stage. I'm starting to roll and planning to for quite awhile.
Note to self - who the hell are all of these people friending me on Myspace?
I am receding into the editing room for a weekend of hell. Please leave a message after the beep.
Yours in need of a vacation,
Marlo
