Opening Act 1; Math Section. A young, free-spirited Mr. Morton begins his first day as a First-grade teacher in a new school. Throughout the Act/scene, we see his new approach to education as he uses his musical talents to teach and inspire his students.
Choreographic Objective: Develop new movement abstractions to correlate with Morton’s teaching methods, [specifically in regards to 5/6 year old characters and the relationship with their teacher.]
