Sharp, defined, violent, abusive, demanding, reaching, thrusting, competitive, selfish, intrusive, desperate, bold, loud, manipulative.
This show explores and depicts, in gruesome detail, the underbelly of the pulsating life on the streets of Times Square, inhibited by pimps, prostitutes, and drug-dealers, during the 1980s; prior to 42nd Streets’ disneyfication.
To Highlight the separation, and physically define the difference, between the three main groups of actors: Hustlers (smooth-liquid), Pimps (rough-jagged), and
Hookers (round-curves). Simultaneously, to challenge the audience to venture into the raw intensity, anger, fear, regret, desperation and tragedy of The Life.
